Men

Nowadays, more than any other time in history, we live in a service based economy in which most men aren’t able to express their manliness. At the same time that men grew in making a better living by providing service instead of being involved in doing laborious work most started to drown into complacency.

By avoiding the pain of doing physical work altogether men unplugged himself from the outlet which he could toughen his mind, channel his aggression, and build resilience.

A complacent mindset is one of the biggest threats to success one will ever encounter for it’s seductive, familiar, and even worse, it makes you feel good. It keeps a man from expanding his awareness and reaching his highest potential.  All men are meant to grow a little bit more every day be it physically, mentally, or emotionally but growth can only be attained by a man’s willingness to step into the unknown and experiment with the new.

For the past eleven years I’ve been working with successful white-collar professionals, from lawyers and doctors to CEOs of big companies. Each of these men had a specific reason for why they came to train with me, some wanted to get out of their comfort zone but couldn’t find the time on their schedule to participate in regular classes at a gym, others wanted to build more confidence but prefered to workout on their own schedule, and still others felt that they could get more out of a one-on-one training when learning how to control their emotions. However, all of them shared the common desire to learn Martial Arts for the purpose of releasing their testosterone fueled aggression.

Martial Arts

Can also be a great addition to your strength or endurance training. It’a a way to diversify your workouts while you learn all aspects of a fight. You may never find yourself in a middle of a situation where you’ll have to stand up for yourself or for a loved one but if you do you’ll greatly improve your chances to survive efficiently if you know how to control the chaos, seize the opportunity, and strike strategically.

The training is designed to fit your objective. If your goal is to use Martial Arts to release tension or get into shape we can work on a mix of Kickboxing/Muay Thai punches and kicks that will help you clear your mind, burn more calories and boost your metabolism for the next 14 hours. But if your goal is to learn self-defense and gain self-control I can teach you Jiu Jitsu strategies that will enable you  to remain calm in critical situations.

Each training session is like peeling a layer of an onion. As each layer comes off you’ll learn more about yourself and discover a strength you never thought you’d had. After an MMA or Jiu Jitsu training session you’ll leave feeling energized, focused to perform your best at work, and ready to win the day.
